Experteer Overview In this role you will lead development of targeted LNP formulations to enable extra-hepatic delivery and advance structure-function understanding through advanced analytics. You will scale high-throughput formulation and AI/ML-enabled workflows to accelerate discovery within a fast-moving, cross-functional R&D environment. You’ll guide experimental design, data interpretation, and collaboration across teams to meet program milestones. This position combines scientific leadership with hands-on formulation science to push delivery technologies beyond liver targeting. Compensation / Benefits * Lead targeted, extra-hepatic LNP delivery programs from hypothesis generation to in-vivo evaluation * Develop and optimize LNP self-assembly, composition, payload loading, and surface modifications for tissue/cell-type specificity * Leverage high-throughput formulation, automation, and AI/ML-enabled analysis to accelerate discovery and data-driven decisions * Independently design and execute experiments; communicate results to multidisciplinary teams and leadership * Apply advanced physicochemical/biophysical characterization (DLS, CryoEM, SAXS, ITC, NMR, nFCM) to elucidate structure-function relationships * Maintain rigorous electronic lab notebooks, SOPs, and documentation * Provide scientific leadership and mentorship, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to meet project milestones Tasks * Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with 2+ years of experience * Deep expertise in LNP design, formulation, and physicochemical characterization; experience with targeted/extra-hepatic delivery preferred * Experience implementing high-throughput workflows, lab automation, and AI/ML-enabled data analysis * Proven leadership mentoring scientists and collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency with analytical techniques for nanoparticle size, morphology, composition, and stability assessment Key requirements * competitive healthcare * well-being resources (fitness, mindfulness, mental health) * family planning benefits * generous paid time off * sabbatical and global recharge days * equity or annual incentive potential
