Cyber Senior Consultant - ASM Patching Engineer

Experteer Overview In this forward-deployed role, you lead patching and remediation efforts to reduce exposure across diverse enterprise environments. You collaborate with client teams to translate vulnerability findings into actionable patch plans and governance metrics. You drive remediation outcomes, build dashboards, and mentor junior staff to scale delivery. This role sits within Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience CTEM team, shaping safer digital environments at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Lead day-to-day forward-deployed engineering execution for patching and remediation across infrastructure, middleware, endpoints, and applications * Prioritize remediation activities using vulnerability data, asset criticality, exploitability, and threat context * Coordinate with client technology teams to plan, execute, validate patches and track exceptions * Develop dashboards, status reports, and remediation metrics to show progress against exposure reduction goals * Support automation initiatives and mentor junior practitioners in patching and operational delivery Tasks * 5+ years in IT, information security, vulnerability management, patch management, or related areas * 4+ years leading remediation execution or forward-deployed engineering in enterprise environments * 4+ years patch management experience across Windows, Linux, middleware, endpoints, or applications with tools such as BigFix, SCCM, Red Hat Satellite, WSUS, Tenable, Rapid7, or Qualys * 2+ years scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or JSON) * 2+ years using ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or equivalent) for remediation workflows, metrics, and reporting * Ability to travel ~50% * Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations in recruiting process * travel up to 50% * competitive compensation range mentioned * opportunity to work with diverse client environments * professional development opportunities
