Cyber Senior Consultant - ASM Patching Engineer

Experteer Overview You will lead forward-deployed engineering to patch and remediate vulnerabilities, translating exposure data into actionable patch plans and governance. You’ll coordinate with client teams across enterprise environments to reduce risk and demonstrate measurable remediation progress. This role sits in Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience CTEM group, bridging technical execution with client outcomes in a fast-paced consulting setting. You’ll mentor junior practitioners and help scale remediation across diverse environments. Compensation / Benefits * Lead day-to-day patching and remediation execution across infrastructure, middleware, endpoints, and applications * Prioritize remediation using vulnerability findings, asset criticality, exploitability, and threat context * Coordinate patch planning, execution, validation, and exception tracking with client technology teams * Develop dashboards, status reporting, and remediation metrics to show exposure reduction progress * Support automation efforts and mentor junior practitioners in patching and operational delivery Tasks * 5+ years in IT, information security, vulnerability management, or patch management * 4+ years leading remediation execution or forward deployed engineering in enterprise environments * 4+ years patching across Windows, Linux, middleware, endpoints, or applications with tools (BigFix, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Red Hat Satellite, Windows Server Update Services, Tenable, Rapid7, or Qualys) * 2+ years scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or JSON) * 2+ years using ServiceNow or similar ITSM for remediation workflows, metrics, and status reporting * Ability to travel ~50% * Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * travel up to 50% * opportunity to work in a consulting, client-facing environment * career development and mentorship opportunities * cross-functional collaboration with security and IT teams
