Cyber Senior Consultant - ASM Patching Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead forward-deployed engineering efforts to patch and remediate vulnerabilities across large environments, translating exposure data into actionable patch plans. You’ll work with client teams to improve remediation outcomes and track progress toward risk reduction. You’ll bridge security findings with operations, shaping dashboards and metrics that demonstrate exposure reduction. This is a hands-on, client-facing position that combines technical execution with program leadership and mentorship. Compensation / Benefits * Lead day-to-day forward-deployed engineering execution for client patching and remediation across infrastructure, middleware, endpoints, and applications * Prioritize remediation based on vulnerability findings, asset criticality, exploitability, and threat context * Coordinate with client technology teams to plan, execute, validate patches, and track exceptions * Develop dashboards, status reports, and remediation metrics demonstrating progress toward exposure reduction * Support automation efforts and mentor junior practitioners in patching, remediation, and operations Tasks * 5+ years of IT, information security, vulnerability management, patch management, or related experience * 4+ years leading remediation execution or forward-deployed engineering in enterprise environments * 4+ years patching across Windows, Linux, middleware, endpoints, or applications using tools such as BigFix, SCCM, Red Hat Satellite, WSUS, Tenable, Rapid7, or Qualys * 2+ years scripting with PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or JSON for automation/configuration * 2+ years using ServiceNow or other ITSM to manage remediation workflows, metrics, and status reporting * Ability to travel 50% on average * Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * travel opportunities (~50%) * accommodations for disabilities via Deloitte process
