Experteer Overview As a Palo Alto SecOps, Senior Consultant, you help clients strengthen cyber resilience by designing and deploying Next-Generation SOC capabilities (e.g., Cortex XSIAM) and automating detection and response. You work with cloud, network, and identity security to integrate data sources, optimize workflows, and advise on threat detection use cases. You collaborate across teams to translate client needs into scalable security solutions and guidance. This role offers impact through shaping security operations for diverse clients, with opportunities to lead initiatives and influence outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Lead the design and deployment of Next-Generation SOC platforms (Cortex XSIAM) and SOAR playbooks * Integrate log and telemetry sources for data quality and visibility * Develop automated response workflows for containment and remediation * Advise clients on threat detection use cases and SOC capabilities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance solutions and present findings to stakeholders Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field * 4+ years in cloud, network, or identity security with 3+ years on AWS, GCP, Azure, and native security tools * 3+ years with Security Operations tools/platforms (Cortex XSIAM, Cortex XDR, Splunk or similar SIEM) * 3+ years in SOC experiences including detection engineering, automation, and playbook development, data ingestion and normalization * 3+ years working with EDR platforms (Microsoft Defender, Cortex XDR, CrowdStrike) and governance/security frameworks, with relevant certifications (e.g., PCNSE, CISSP, CEH, CCSP) * Ability to travel ~50% and potential for limited immigration sponsorship Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities * travel opportunities (up to ~50%) * professional development and mentorship * flexible and diverse client projects
