Cyber - Palo Alto SecOps - Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role, you will help clients strengthen cyber resilience by designing and deploying Next-Generation SOC platforms (including Cortex XSIAM) and defining automation-driven responses. You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate data sources, optimize detections, and enhance incident containment. You’ll translate complex threat scenarios into practical security solutions and present findings to stakeholders. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that blends engineering, threat expertise, and advisory work to advance secure operations at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design and deployment of Next-Generation SOC platforms (Cortex XSIAM) including SIEM ingestion and SOAR playbooks * Integrate log and telemetry sources for data quality and operational visibility * Develop and optimize automated response workflows for containment and remediation * Advise clients on threat detection use cases, automation strategies, and SOC capabilities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance solutions and present findings to client stakeholders Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related technical field) * 4+ years in cloud, network, or identity security with 3+ years on AWS, GCP, or Azure * 3+ years with Security Operations tools/platforms (Cortex XSIAM, Cortex XDR, Splunk or similar SIEM) * 3+ years SOC experience in detection engineering, automation, and data ingestion/normalization * 3+ years with EDR platforms (Microsoft Defender, Cortex XDR, CrowdStrike) and governance/security frameworks * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * Reasonable accommodations for disabilities * Professional development opportunities * Mentorship programs * Inclusive culture and career growth
