Experteer Overview In this role, you help design and deploy Next-Generation SOC platforms, including Cortex XSIAM, to strengthen clients’ cyber resilience. You will work with cross-functional teams to operationalize threat detection, automation, and data integration within a dynamic security landscape. You help shape SOC capabilities through analytics, playbooks, and threat intelligence, delivering measurable improvements in detection and response. This is a mission-critical consulting role at Deloitte Cyber Defense & Resilience, offering impactful work with clients across industries. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design and deployment of Next-Generation SOC platforms (Cortex XSIAM) and SOAR playbooks * Integrate log and telemetry sources for data quality and visibility * Develop and optimize automated incident containment and remediation workflows * Advise on threat detection use cases, automation strategies, and SOC capabilities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance solutions and present findings to clients Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field * 4+ years in cloud, network, or identity security with AWS, GCP, or Azure * 3+ years with SIEM/Security Operations tools including Cortex XSIAM/XDR or Splunk * 3+ years in SOC roles covering detection engineering, automation, and data handling * 3+ years with EDR platforms (e.g., Defender, Cortex XDR, CrowdStrike) and governance/ compliance work; relevant cybersecurity certifications * Ability to travel ~50% and eligibility for immigration sponsorship Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * Reasonable accommodations for disabilities * Competitive compensation range provided in posting * Travel allowances or support as needed * Professional development opportunities * Supportive, inclusive culture
