Finance Operate - Manager, Integration & Data Lead

Experteer Overview In this role you shape the data architecture and integration strategy for the Finance Operate Platform within Deloitte’s Finance Transformation group. You will partner with CFOs and executives to deliver scalable, secure, and audit-ready data solutions that modernize finance functions. You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration and governance to support client contracts, compliance, and strategic finance outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on data quality, security, and operational excellence, offering meaningful client impact and career growth. Compensation / Benefits * Own end-to-end data architecture and integration across Finance Operate Platform layers, including ingestion, ETL/ELT, transformation, quality controls, and consumption. * Define and govern integration patterns and data contracts between delivery portals, accelerators, consulting platform, and client ERP/subledger systems. * Lead platform decisions on data tooling based on use case, scale, governance, and cost-to-value. * Design and oversee the data readiness pipeline for the Consulting delivery platform (Phase 1: ETL, validation, triage, remediation). * Serve as primary data and integration liaison for client contract and compliance discussions with onshore proximity. * Collaborate with offshore Data Engineers and Solution Architects to deliver the integration roadmap. * Manage risks related to data quality, security, lineage, and regulatory compliance (SOX relevance). * Define non-functional requirements for integration solutions: performance, resiliency, security, and auditability. * Establish data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and reusable integration guardrails. * Specify BI consumption patterns, metrics definitions, and data lineage documentation standards. * Ensure integration designs meet enterprise security, compliance, and privacy expectations. * Mentor Data Engineers and Integration Engineers across offshore teams. * Champion Agile delivery practices; lead sprint planning and technical reviews for integration workstreams. Tasks * 7+ years in data architecture, integration design, or data engineering in an enterprise environment * Hands-on experience designing end-to-end data pipelines and integration architectures * Strong grasp of API design, microservices, event-driven patterns, and enterprise integration concepts * Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and associated data services * Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks relevant to finance operations (e.g., SOX controls, data privacy) * Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to translate architecture to business recommendations * Ability to travel 25% (average) as required by client work and industries/sectors served Key requirements *
