Cyber Zscaler Network Security Engineer / Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview In this role you help modernize enterprise network security through cloud-delivered zero trust architectures. You will design, deploy, and optimize Zscaler capabilities across complex environments, strengthening security posture while enabling secure transformation across on-premises and cloud ecosystems. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful security solutions, balancing technical delivery with client-facing guidance. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) across client environments * Support zero trust network access (ZTNA) transformations and modernization of access controls * Configure and optimize Zscaler security features (policy admin, SSL/TLS inspection, ATP, DLP, cloud-based traffic inspection) * Implement branch, cloud, and application connectors across on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Develop technical deliverables, solution designs, and client-facing recommendations aligned to security and network transformation * Lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced settings * Communicate clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders * Foster professional relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * ZDTE certification required * 5+ years of network security engineering experience * 5+ years designing, deploying, and managing ZIA (web filtering, DNS security, cloud firewall, etc.) * 5+ years designing, deploying, and managing ZPA (application segment configuration, access policies, connectors, ZTNA) * 1+ years with Zscaler Branch Connector and Zscaler Cloud Connector * 3+ years configuring advanced security features (Cloud Sandboxing, ATP, IPS, CBI, DLP) * 3+ years SSL/TLS inspection design and troubleshooting in ZIA * 1+ years Zscaler AI-powered capabilities (ZDX, AI-driven policy recommendations) * 3+ years defining/managing Zscaler security policies (RBAC, policy lifecycle) * Experience with identity integrations (Okta, Azure AD, SAML/SCIM) * 3+ years with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) * 3+ years deploying Zscaler Cloud Connector * Experience integrating Zscaler with SIEM/SOAR (Splunk, Sentinel, XSOAR) * Experience with Zscaler APIs and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Python) * Ability to travel up to 50% * Experience presenting architectures to executives * Previous consulting or Big 4 background preferred Key requirements *
