Cyber Zscaler Network Security Engineer / Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview In this Senior Consultant role, you help clients modernize network security through cloud-based zero-trust architectures and Zscaler capabilities. You will design, deploy, and optimize ZIA and ZPA across complex environments, aligning security with enterprise transformation. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions for on-premises and cloud ecosystems. This position offers meaningful impact by shaping security posture and user experiences in a dynamic, growth-focused Cyber practice. Compensation / Benefits * Designing, deploying, and managing ZIA and ZPA across enterprise environments * Supporting ZTNA transformations and modernization of access controls * Configuring and tuning Zscaler security features (policy, TLS inspection, ATP, DLP, traffic inspection) * Implementing branch, cloud, and application connectors across on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Developing technical deliverables, designs, and client-facing recommendations aligned to security and transformation * Leading projects or workstreams and coordinating with cross-functional teams Tasks * BA/BS degree in a technical field * 5+ years in network security engineering * 5+ years hands-on ZIA design, deployment, and management * 5+ years hands-on ZPA design, deployment, and management * 1+ years Zscaler Branch Connector and Zscaler Cloud Connector experience * 3+ years configuring advanced Zscaler security features (ATP, IPS, CBI, DLP) * 3+ years SSL/TLS inspection design and management in ZIA * 1+ years Zscaler AI-powered capabilities (ZDX, AI threat intel) * 3+ years managing Zscaler security policies and RBAC in Admin Portal * Experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) for ZPA connectors * Experience integrating Zscaler with SIEM/SOAR (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, XSOAR) * Experience with Zscaler APIs and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Python) * Experience presenting Zscaler architectures to executives * Familiarity with identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity) for SAML/SCIM authentication * Ability to travel up to 50% Key requirements *
