Workday HCM Functional Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you help clients transform HR through Workday, delivering functional implementations and optimizations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into Workday designs and configurations, while guiding client workshops and ensuring quality delivery. You will support testing, deployment, and stabilization to drive measurable HR effectiveness. This position sits on the HR Strategy & Technology team, shaping workforce capabilities for Fortune 500 and other clients. Compensation / Benefits * Lead Workday functional implementation, enhancement, and optimization activities * Translate business requirements into functional designs and Workday configurations * Facilitate client meetings to define scope, priorities, and deliverables * Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and stabilization activities * Prepare deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent * 4+ years of experience supporting or leading Workday HCM implementations or optimization projects * 4+ years of experience leading workstreams on Workday implementations with knowledge in 2+ HCM areas (e.g., HCM configuration, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management, Talent) * Experience participating in at least 2 end-to-end Workday implementations * Ability to travel 50% on average; sponsorship may be available (limited) Key requirements *
