Transition Manager

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the end-to-end transition, mobilization and start-up of large managed services and transformation-led outsourcing programs. You will work at the intersection of solutioning, due diligence, transition execution, governance and run readiness to leverage Infosys’ global delivery capabilities. The position focuses on delivering scalable, commercially sound transitions with strong stakeholder alignment. You’ll drive speed, quality and predictability through accelerators and AI-enabled tooling, shaping outcomes for complex, cross-functional engagements. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as the single point of accountability for transition activities * Plan, lead and manage transition portions of engagements ensuring profitability and client satisfaction * Architect transition solutions including cost estimates, staffing, work plans and RFP responses * Conduct workshops to define requirements and build a business case for outsourcing * Lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams * Oversee all aspects of transition program management, including planning and resource allocation * Lead due diligence planning for new engagements and validate assumptions against delivery * Ensure alignment between sales promises and delivery capabilities during due diligence and transition * Develop frameworks, tools and templates to support transition activities * Leverage accelerators, automation, AI-enabled tools, and governance to improve speed and service readiness * Identify and mitigate delivery, commercial and stakeholder risks with executive alignment * Ensure service level commitments are met post-transition and provide effective turnover to the engagement manager * Facilitate smooth transition-to-run handoffs including governance, readiness and knowledge transfer Tasks * 10-15 years in sales, solution development and delivery with a large SI/Big 3 consulting firm * Experience leading large-deal transitions and outsourcing mobilization in global delivery environments * Experience with global delivery models across apps, infrastructure, BPO, testing and engineering services * Experience with cloud, digital transformation, automation, AI-enabled operations, modernization * Experience pursuing deal consultant-led engagements (ISG, Everest, KPMG, etc.) * Ability to build positive client relationships and monitor satisfaction * Demonstrated success in a matrix organization * Strong commercial acumen with understanding of pricing, scope, risks and delivery impact * Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority * Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent * Willingness to travel 60-80% Key requirements * Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance * Disability coverage * Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts * 401(k) plan and employer contributions * Paid holidays and PTO
