Cyber Palo Alto Networks Security Engineer/ Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview In this role you will help clients modernize network security through cloud-delivered zero-trust architectures, focusing on Palo Alto networks technologies and Prisma Access within complex environments. You will design, deploy, and optimize security solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms to strengthen posture and enable secure transformation. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable security architectures and integrations that support comprehensive cyber outcomes. This is a client-facing, impact-driven role at Deloitte Cyber, offering opportunities to shape security strategy and delivery at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Networks NGFWs across on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Implement and optimize Prisma Access capabilities (GlobalProtect, Prisma Agent, Prisma Browser) for secure internet and remote access * Administer Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager for centralized policy management and visibility * Configure and tune Threat Prevention, IPS/IDS, Anti-Spyware, Antivirus, WildFire, DNS Security, and SSL/TLS decryption policies * Develop client designs and recommendations, integrating Palo Alto platforms with SIEM/SOAR, identity providers, and automation (Terraform, Ansible, Python) * Collaborate with teams to align security solutions with cloud-native architectures and transformation initiatives * Provide guidance on policy lifecycle, rule optimization, and access reviews * Engage in multi-cloud security design including VM-Series deployments and cloud-native integrations Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * PCNSE certification * 5+ years in network security engineering with Palo Alto technologies * 5+ years hands-on NGFW design, deployment, and management (on-premises and cloud) * 3+ years Prisma Access design, deployment, and management * 3+ years Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager experience * 3+ years configuring Threat Prevention features and SSL/TLS decryption policies * 3+ years defining and reviewing security policies and lifecycle management * 3+ years experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and VM-Series in cloud environments * Ability to travel up to 50% Key requirements *
