Job description

Experteer Overview As Deloitte Tax, AI Engineer Manager, you will lead the design, deployment, and support of custom AI applications for tax services. You’ll guide a engineers team, drive project execution, and manage stakeholder communications to align with business objectives. You’ll build scalable Python apps, ensure code quality, and mentor junior developers. This role blends tech leadership with enterprise tax transformation in a hybrid work environment. Compensation / Benefits * Define and enforce coding standards and best practices across projects * Perform thorough code reviews to maintain quality * Develop, maintain, and scale Python applications * Optimize performance and data handling for scalable solutions * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software * Manage day-to-day operations and communicate with clients * Create comprehensive documentation for code and workflows * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers * Lead project execution and stakeholder communication Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline * 5+ years of Python development experience * Hands-on FastAPI experience with Pydantic for validation * Practical asyncio experience and asynchronous/parallel programming * Experience with Agile environments and design patterns * Proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, and databases (SQL/NoSQL, EF 6+) * Ability to travel up to 10% * Active accreditations such as CPA/Attorney/Enrolled Agent or relevant tech certifications (AWS, CRISC, CISSP, SAFe, CSSLP) * Experience with LLMs and agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph), multi-modal Gen AI models, RAG pipelines, and vector databases * Familiarity with Angular, MongoDB, NPM, and Azure DevOps Build/Release Key requirements *
