Cyber Senior Consultant - ASM Patching Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead forward-deployed engineering efforts to patch and remediate vulnerabilities across enterprise environments. You will translate exposure data into actionable patching plans and governance metrics, working closely with client teams to reduce risk. You’ll develop dashboards and reports that track remediation progress and outcomes, and mentor junior practitioners in delivery activities. This position sits within Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience practice, contributing to proactive risk reduction and secure digital transformation for clients. Compensation / Benefits * Lead day-to-day forward-deployed engineering execution for patching and remediation across infrastructure, middleware, endpoints, and applications * Prioritize remediation activities using vulnerability findings, asset criticality, exploitability, and threat context * Coordinate with client technology teams to plan, execute, validate patches and track exceptions * Develop dashboards, status reporting, and remediation metrics showing progress against exposure reduction goals * Support automation and mentor junior practitioners in patching, remediation, and operational delivery Tasks * 5+ years in IT, information security, vulnerability management, or related fields * 4+ years leading remediation execution or forward-deployed engineering in enterprise environments * 4+ years patching across Windows, Linux, middleware, endpoints, or applications with listed tools * 2+ years scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar) * 2+ years using ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar) to manage remediation workflows and reporting * Ability to travel ~50% * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Key requirements *
