Cyber Data Protection/PKI Manager

Experteer Overview In this role, you guide clients on data protection and encryption strategies, shaping PKI, key management, and data security in diverse environments. You will design and operate solutions to reduce data risk and lead engagement delivery with clients and Deloitte teams. The position sits within Cyber Strategy & Transformation, driving governance, risk assessments, and program maturity to stay ahead of threats. You’ll work closely with cross-functional groups to deliver impactful, scalable security transformations. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as SME and trusted advisor on data protection and encryption requirements * Advise on encryption, decryption, and PKI strategies across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments * Design, implement, and operate data protection solutions, including certificate lifecycle management and monitoring * Drive day-to-day engagement execution, communicating with clients and leadership, supporting delivery, and tracking timelines * Stay current on encryption technologies and industry trends; evaluate and recommend tools and solutions Tasks * 7+ years in data protection and information security (Data Discovery, Data Classification and Rights Management, Data Access Governance, Data Loss Prevention, Cloud Access Security Broker, Encryption, Certificate Lifecycle Management, Cloud Security, SaaS Security) * 7+ years with PKI concepts; deep expertise in PKI architecture and enterprise trust models * 5+ years leading CLM strategy, design, and implementation using platforms such as AppViewX, Venafi, Keyfactor, DigiCert, or similar * Advanced knowledge of cryptography, certificate lifecycle processes, key management, HSM integration, and crypto policy enforcement * Hands-on understanding of certificate automation across load balancers, WAFs, API gateways, Kubernetes, cloud, web/app servers, and network/security infrastructure * Strong client leadership and executive stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, roadmap alignment, and decision-making support * Ability to travel 25-50% Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * professional development opportunities * inclusive culture and support for growth
