Palantir Associate Forward Deployed Engineer - GPS

Experteer Overview In this role you partner with clients and cross-functional teams to rapidly prototype and deliver GenAI-enabled solutions that drive measurable business impact. You will embed with client teams, shape problems into deployable AI work, and deliver production-quality code with a focus on scalability and safety. You’ll mentor others, contribute reusable assets, and work across enterprise AI platforms to advance government and public sector initiatives. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role at the intersection of AI engineering and client delivery, with a clear impact trajectory. Compensation / Benefits * Embed with clients to identify business needs and translate GenAI use cases into solutions * Partner with leaders, product owners, architects, and engineers to align priorities and delivery * Lead working sessions to shape solutions and drive client outcomes * Prototype and deliver working AI solutions leveraging industry expertise and emerging capabilities * Contribute independently within an FDE pod while mentoring newer team members * Build AI-enabled solutions, agentic platforms, and workflows across enterprise AI platforms * Develop scalable AI engineering patterns, tool-use approaches, and human-in-the-loop controls * Apply architecture decisions balancing quality, safety, latency, cost, and model risk * Deliver production-quality code with testing, CI/CD, logging, versioning, and documentation * Design extensible functionality, support sprint sizing, and align solutions with senior team members * Contribute reusable assets including code, prompt libraries, runbooks, and reference implementations Tasks * Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field * 2+ years of software/software engineering, data engineering, data science, or analytics engineering experience * 1+ years building and deploying GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client or production environments * 1+ years of hands-on Palantir experience including Foundry, AIP, or Maven * 1+ years leading project workstreams/engagements and translating business problems into AI solutions * 1+ years of maintainable, well-documented code development * Ability to travel ~50% * Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future * Ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance Key requirements *
