Cisco Network Security Engineer/ Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview Senior Cisco-focused security consultant enabling clients to design, deploy, and operate secure network architectures across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will work within Deloitte’s Cyber team to deliver integrated security solutions that align technical requirements with business objectives. Expect hands-on design, implementation, and guidance across Cisco security products, automation, and risk-driven strategies. This role combines technical leadership with client-facing advisory and transformation impact. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Cisco FTD and FMC across enterprise environments (physical, virtual, and cloud) * Implement and support Cisco ISE capabilities including 802.1X NAC, device profiling, guest lifecycle, and TrustSec * Configure and tune advanced security features (IPS, malware protection, URL filtering, DNS security, SSL/TLS decryption) * Deploy and integrate Cisco Secure Firewall in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with centralized policy management * Develop client-facing security architectures and integrate Cisco platforms with SIEM tools and automation solutions * Deliver recommendations aligning technical requirements with compliance and business objectives * Lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced settings * Provide clear guidance to team members and stakeholders Tasks * BA/BS degree in a technical field * CCNP Security or CCIE Security certification * 5+ years of experience in network security engineering with Cisco technologies * 5+ years designing, deploying, and managing Cisco FTD and FMC in enterprise environments (including cloud) * 5+ years designing and implementing Cisco ISE including distributed architectures, HA, patch management, upgrades * 3+ years experience with Cisco ISE 802.1X NAC, guest lifecycle, profiling, TrustSec, and related Cisco security capabilities across AWS/Azure/GCP * Ability to travel up to 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations for disabilities * opportunity to grow professionally and through formal development programs
