Cyber Senior Consultant - ASM Patching Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead forward deployed engineering to patch and remediate vulnerabilities across enterprise environments, partnering with client teams to translate exposure data into actionable patching plans and measurable risk reductions. You’ll accelerate remediation governance, develop dashboards and metrics, and mentor junior practitioners to deliver timely risk reduction. The role sits within Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience practice, driving exposure reduction for clients at scale. A strong emphasis is placed on cross-functional collaboration and delivering tangible security improvements. Compensation / Benefits * Lead day-to-day forward deployed engineering execution for patching and remediation across infrastructure, middleware, endpoints, and applications * Prioritize remediation activities based on vulnerability findings, asset criticality, exploitability, and threat context * Coordinate patch planning, execution, validation, and exception tracking with client technology teams * Develop dashboards, status reports, and remediation metrics to show progress against exposure reduction goals * Support automation initiatives and mentor junior practitioners in patching and operational delivery activities Tasks * 5+ years in IT, information security, vulnerability management, patch management, or related field * 4+ years leading remediation execution, patch coordination, or forward deployed engineering in enterprise environments * 4+ years patching across Windows, Linux, middleware, endpoints, or applications using tools such as BigFix, SCCM, Red Hat Satellite, WSUS, Tenable, Rapid7, or Qualys * 2+ years scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or JSON) * 2+ years using ITSM platforms like ServiceNow for remediation workflows, metrics, and reporting * Ability to travel ~50% and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program
