Agentic Capability AI and Data Science Engineer

Experteer Overview Join Deloitte’s AI & Engineering team to design, build, and scale agentic infrastructure for AI-driven delivery. You will shape agent systems, prompt patterns, and MCP servers to empower cross-functional delivery teams and client impact. This role blends platform engineering with AI workloads, offering opportunities to improve reliability and drive innovation at scale. You’ll work with security-minded DevSecOps practices and guide peers to maximize platform utility for complex missions. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement agent system architecture and DevSecOps practices for AI workflows * Build and maintain AI agents, agent systems, and reusable skills/workflows for delivery teams * Develop and govern prompt and context engineering patterns for consistent outputs * Stand up MCP servers, CLI tools, and agent testing frameworks * Deliver platform configuration and integrations (CI/CD, repositories, environments, guardrails) * Standardize orchestration components for enterprise reuse * Improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of agent delivery capabilities * Provide technical guidance to ADEs and AEMs on agentic infrastructure usage Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering * 7+ years of software engineering experience with platform or infrastructure impact * 5+ years building/deploying/integrating AI/ML systems in production * 5+ years of cloud platforms and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Kubernetes) experience * 2+ years of prompt engineering and context optimization * 2+ years designing reusable tools or developer productivity infrastructure * Ability to travel 50% * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship * ability to obtain required clearance for this role Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * broad range of benefits * inclusive culture * professional development opportunities * accommodations for people with disabilities * commitment to diversity and inclusion
