Agentic Capability AI and Data Science Engineer

Experteer Overview As an Agentic Capability Engineer, you design, build, and maintain the agentic infrastructure powering AI-driven delivery at scale within Deloitte’s AI & Engineering team. You collaborate to reimagine operations, enabling clients to improve financial performance and accelerate digital ventures. You work on agent systems, reusable prompts, MCP servers, and platform integrations to support cross-functional delivery teams. This role combines architecture, DevSecOps for AI workflows, and hands-on development to drive reliable, high-quality AI capabilities. You will shape scalable, reusable patterns and mentor others while delivering platform excellence. Compensation / Benefits * Design agent system architecture and implement DevSecOps practices for AI workflows * Build and maintain AI agents, agent systems, and reusable skills/workflows for delivery teams * Develop and govern prompt and context engineering patterns * Stand up MCP servers, CLI tools, and agent testing frameworks * Deliver platform configuration and integrations (CI/CD pipelines, repositories, environments, guardrails) * Standardize orchestration components for enterprise reuse * Improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of agent delivery capabilities * Provide technical guidance to ADEs and AEMs on agentic infrastructure use Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering * 7+ years of software engineering experience with platform or infrastructure impact * 5+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML systems in production * 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Kubernetes) * 2+ years of experience with prompt engineering and context optimization * 2+ years of experience designing reusable tools or developer productivity infrastructure * Ability to travel 50% * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship * Ability to obtain required clearance Key requirements * broad range of benefits * professional development opportunities * mentorship * inclusive culture * career growth * work-life balance
