Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, develop, integrate, and test software that controls test equipment and validates a Space payload unit. You will join an agile team focused on automated testing and verification, leveraging Python, TCL, C++, and tools like Jenkins and Robot Framework. You’ll engage in cross-functional collaboration, perform peer reviews, and guide task execution with Technical Leads. The position emphasizes hands-on software development for space systems and offers a clear path to impact through mission-critical testing. This opportunity combines technical rigor with a pioneering Space Sector culture that values curiosity and teamwork. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, integrate and test software for test equipment and space payload units * Conduct peer reviews of software and technical documents * Participate in cross-functional scrum team and agile processes * Operate as a self-starter within a collaborative engineering environment * Prioritize tasks and provide recommendations to Technical Leads during tasking * Utilize automation tools to enable testing and verification Tasks * Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of software development experience OR Master’s with 3+ years OR PhD with 1+ year (plus 4+ years in lieu of degree) * Ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI security clearance (US Citizenship required) * Experience developing in Python * Ability to debug code and trace existing software * Experience integrating software applications using logs and data examination * Experience developing in Linux and/or Windows environments * Experience in software testing and debugging * Experience with software configuration management tools * Ability to work on an on-site, 9/80 schedule * US Citizenship required for clearance Key requirements * Total Rewards * health insurance coverage * life and disability insurance * savings plan * Company paid holidays * PTO for vacation and/or personal business
