SAP Data Migration & Conversion Transformation Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead data migration and SAP transformation efforts for a federal program, enabling a USDA loan modernization initiative. You will work with cross-functional teams to configure SAP S/4HANA, define data conversion strategies, and ensure smooth deployment readiness. The position sits within Deloitte’s Government & Public Services, focusing on mission-critical public sector transformations. You will drive accuracy and coordination across data, systems, and stakeholders, delivering measurable improvements in performance and compliance. Compensation / Benefits * Lead data migration and conversion activities for a USDA loan modernization program * Support SAP S/4HANA general ledger configuration for federal credit requirements * Define and execute data conversion strategies, mappings, validations, and reconciliation activities * Coordinate integration-related data requirements between SAP and the new USDA loan system * Collaborate with functional, technical, and client stakeholders to deliver migration milestones, issue resolution, and deployment readiness Tasks * Bachelor’s degree * 4+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA * 2+ years of experience leading SAP data migration and performing SAP data conversion activities * SAP BODS and other data migration tools and methodologies * Ability to travel 0-25% * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship * U.S. Citizenship required Key requirements *
