Agentic Capability AI and Data Science Engineer

Experteer Overview As an Agentic Capability Engineer, you design, build, and maintain the agentic infrastructure powering AI-driven delivery at scale. You will contribute to AI agent systems, reusable prompt patterns, and MCP servers, enabling orchestration across platforms. Your work connects platform engineering with enterprise AI delivery to improve efficiency, reliability, and scale for client engagements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the architecture and tooling that support secure, high-quality AI workflows. This role offers the chance to influence how AI capabilities are embedded into mission-critical government and public sector programs. Compensation / Benefits * Design agent system architecture and implement DevSecOps practices for AI workflows * Build and maintain AI agents, agent systems, and reusable skills/workflows for delivery teams * Develop and govern prompt and context engineering patterns for consistent outputs * Stand up MCP servers, CLI tools, and agent testing frameworks * Deliver platform configuration and integrations (CI/CD pipelines, repositories, environments, guardrails) * Standardize orchestration components, templates, harnesses, and observability for enterprise reuse * Improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of agent delivery capabilities * Provide technical guidance to ADEs and AEMs on effective use of agentic infrastructure Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering * 7+ years of software engineering experience with platform or infrastructure impact * 5+ years building/deploying/integrating AI/ML systems in production * 5+ years of cloud platforms and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.) * 2+ years of prompt engineering and context optimization with measurable quality improvements * 2+ years designing reusable developer tooling or productivity infrastructure * Ability to travel ~50% * Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship * Ability to obtain required security clearance Key requirements *
