Experteer Overview In this role you will own the experience strategy for the gmUI1 in-vehicle UI platform, coordinating across vehicle programs and display configurations. You’ll align product visions with GM’s broader goals and lead cross-functional prioritization to deliver valuable, viable solutions. You’ll act as the product lead for gmUI1, guiding iterations, demos, and research to inform prioritization and improve user experience. This is a high-visibility role that shapes how millions of customers interact with GM’s digital cockpit, vehicles, and features. Compensation / Benefits * Consolidate product visions into a unified gmUI1 experience roadmap across displays and programs * Serve as the DRI for gmUI1 (UI1.x), aligning priorities for launches and upgrades * Lead cross-product backlog, balance tradeoffs with HID and engineering * Ensure prioritization delivers value to customers and aligns with GM business and regulatory constraints * Collaborate with System UI PM and HMI design to integrate hero use cases into the system framework * Manage a scorecard to track gmUI1 performance against KPIs with cross-functional reporting * Own demos and reviews, translate feedback into targeted iterations * Act as single-threaded owner for gmUI1, coordinating among design, engineering, architecture, privacy, legal, safety, marketing Tasks * 7+ years in technology-powered products (automotive, consumer apps, platforms, or enterprise software) as Product Manager or related role * In-vehicle experience is a MUST * End-to-end vehicle software product experience from discovery to launch and iteration * Strong understanding of modern product discovery and delivery (hypothesis-driven development, experimentation) * Ability to break down complex problems and propose data-informed solutions * Define product success metrics and adjust based on data and feedback * Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, design, PM, and cross-functional teams * Strong communication skills for leadership storytelling * Ability to learn multiple functional areas and incorporate business constraints Key requirements * hybrid work model * potential relocation benefits * company vehicle program * travel opportunities * inclusive workplace * Total Rewards resources
