Job description

We are looking for an experienced Back-End Developer to design, develop, maintain and improve critical PHP and C applications within a complex IT environment. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team working on the modernization of legacy systems and migration towards a modern architecture. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and test applications based on functional and technical requirements.
Develop and maintain PHP and C applications in a high-availability environment.
Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Maintain and improve existing applications and provide technical support.
Develop and integrate REST and SOAP web services.
Contribute to technical architecture and propose improvements to existing solutions.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Follow technological developments and provide technical recommendations.

Requirements

Expert knowledge of PHP 5.6, 7 and 8, JavaScript and C.
Strong experience with C server-side programming, including asynchronous programming and threads.
Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services.
Experience with AngularJS, Ajax, jQuery, CodeIgniter and Git/DevOps.
Knowledge of Linux/Red Hat environments.
Good understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols.
Knowledge of C#, Xamarin and related technologies is an advantage.
Strong communication, problem-solving and documentation skills.
Dutch, French and English proficiency.
