Full-Stack Developer – PHP / Python / JavaScript

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to contribute to a major data modernization program, helping migrate critical data from legacy mainframe systems to a modern, open architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications, REST APIs and web services.
• Design and implement data exchange services and integrations between applications.
• Develop application components using PHP, Python and JavaScript.
• Contribute to software architecture and technical design.
• Support the integration of data analytics, AI and intelligence-related capabilities.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, performant and interoperable.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to DevOps/MLOps and CI/CD activities using GitLab.
• Implement and maintain automated testing where required.

Requirements

• Strong experience in PHP and Python development.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of software architecture and application security.
• Experience with GitLab, DevOps/MLOps and CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Autonomous, quality-oriented and willing to learn.
• Dutch, French and English proficiency.

Practical Information

• Start: 15 September 2026
• Duration: Until 31 December 2026, extendable
• Workload: Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Location: Brussels
• Work model: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week onsite
