Job description

You’ll create intuitive, accessible and engaging digital experiences for a large and diverse customer base. Working closely with UX, research, product, engineering and data teams, you’ll turn complex problems into simple, effective customer experiences., You’ll:

  • Lead UI design across web, responsive and native digital products, from discovery through to delivery.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes and production-ready designs using Figma.
  • Work closely with UX, product, engineering, research and analytics teams.
  • Champion human-centred, inclusive and accessible design.
  • Use customer research, testing and data to inform design decisions.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative design sessions.
  • Work within and contribute to a Digital Design System, helping evolve components and patterns.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality implementation.
  • Mentor and support junior designers and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Continuously improve design processes and ways of working.

Requirements

You’ll have:

  • 5+ years’ professional UI design experience.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating web, responsive and native app design.
  • Excellent UI and interaction design skills.
  • Advanced Figma skills and experience with modern prototyping tools.
  • Experience designing accessible experiences in line with WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching other designers.
  • A user-focused approach with the ability to balance customer, business and technical needs.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Miro.
  • Retail or other high-volume customer-facing experience is advantageous.
