Job description
You’ll create intuitive, accessible and engaging digital experiences for a large and diverse customer base. Working closely with UX, research, product, engineering and data teams, you’ll turn complex problems into simple, effective customer experiences., You’ll:
- Lead UI design across web, responsive and native digital products, from discovery through to delivery.
- Create wireframes, prototypes and production-ready designs using Figma.
- Work closely with UX, product, engineering, research and analytics teams.
- Champion human-centred, inclusive and accessible design.
- Use customer research, testing and data to inform design decisions.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative design sessions.
- Work within and contribute to a Digital Design System, helping evolve components and patterns.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Mentor and support junior designers and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Continuously improve design processes and ways of working.
Requirements
You’ll have:
- 5+ years’ professional UI design experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating web, responsive and native app design.
- Excellent UI and interaction design skills.
- Advanced Figma skills and experience with modern prototyping tools.
- Experience designing accessible experiences in line with WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience mentoring or coaching other designers.
- A user-focused approach with the ability to balance customer, business and technical needs.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Miro.
- Retail or other high-volume customer-facing experience is advantageous.
