Senior Data Migration Specialist

Experteer Overview In this hands-on, delivery-focused role you will lead data migration efforts for a greenfield Salesforce deployment, driving discovery through production transition. You will work closely with business data owners, developers, QA, and architects to ensure data readiness across Energy & Utilities Cloud, the Clean Energy Module, and related Salesforce products. Your impact comes from shaping data definitions, mappings, and validation to enable a smooth cutover and reliable post-load operation. Compensation / Benefits * Lead data-migration workstreams across discovery, profiling, mapping, cleansing, transformation, loading, validation, and defect resolution * Define source-to-target mappings for customer, account, service, program, clean-energy, knowledge, case, and operational data * Coordinate with business data owners, developers, architects, QA, and integration teams to establish data definitions, ownership, and readiness * Plan mock loads, trial conversions, cutover rehearsals, production migration, post-load validation, and issue remediation * Maintain mapping workbooks, transformation rules, data-quality findings, reconciliation evidence, issue logs, and cutover documentation * Communicate migration risks, dependencies, decisions, and readiness to business and technical stakeholders Tasks * 7+ years of enterprise delivery experience with senior ownership of complex workstreams * Hands-on data migration experience: profiling, source-to-target mapping, ETL/ELT, SQL or data querying, transformation rules, validation, reconciliation * Experience migrating data into Salesforce objects and relationships with understanding of IDs and load sequencing * Knowledge of data needs for Energy & Utilities Cloud, Clean Energy Module, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, OmniStudio, and OmniScript-driven processes * Ability to identify data-quality risks, resolve mapping questions, and maintain evidence of migration completeness and accuracy * Strong communication and coordination skills across SMEs, data owners, developers, QA, architecture, and cutover teams * Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery with cross-functional onshore and offshore teams * Strong verbal and written communication skills for risk, dependency, and decision documentation Key requirements *
