Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you lead and grow a software team focused on the AWS Elastic Block Store (EBS), a foundational cloud storage service. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to deliver a secure, performant, and reliable distributed storage system at scale. You will mentor engineers, oversee code quality, and shape projects that impact many AWS services and customers. This is an opportunity to influence architecture and drive growth in a high-impact, mentorship-driven environment. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with industry experts to solve large-scale storage problems * Partner with multiple AWS teams to deliver a secure, performant, and reliable EBS system * Mentor engineers through one-on-one guidance and thorough code reviews * Guide projects to align with engineering growth vectors and future complexity * Promote knowledge sharing and empower team members to take on advanced tasks Tasks * 3+ years of engineering team management * 7+ years engineering experience * Knowledge of full SDLC practices: coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and live site operations * Experience partnering with product and program management * 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience * Experience with SDLC or deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU or other AI acceleration hardware Key requirements * health insurance (medical, dental, vision) * RSUs * sign-on payments * 401(k) matching * paid time off * parental leave
