An employer is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to sit remotely. You will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple IT projects for the large, enterprise environment, primarily related to infrastructure modernization, data center migrations, custom application development and implementations. The client has multiple projects kicking off in this space and you will be stepping in to lead 2-3 in their largest portfolio. You will play a heavy role in leading these initiatives by building project plans, budget/ resource allocations and financial models related to these projects. You will need to showcase your financial expertise while evaluating related Capex vs Opex aspects and be able to successfully communicate these items to executive leadership. You will own executive level communications for any aspects related to your project portfolio and stay highly engaged with both technology and business stakeholders. Additional tasks will include project documentation, data analysis/ reporting, and removing bottlenecks to drive projects successfully through completion.

10-15+ years’ experience operating as a Sr. Project Manager in enterprise level organizations, specific experience leading and delivering large scale solutions

Experience managing delivery using Agile best practices - Scrum or SAFe/ Hybrid/ Kanban

Extensive background leading infrastructure projects around data center migrations, infrastructure modernization, server upgrades, etc.

Expert experience leading/ managing application development projects (Custom development, implementations, migrations, etc.)

Well versed with Azure DevOps for project management tool as well as Excel/ PowerPoint

Excellent experience managing and reporting on project financials - this is a significant part of this role, if this is not a strength, the applicant will not be successful

o Strong understanding of CapEx vs Opex

o Proven experience creating resource plans and project scopes

o Experience reporting to executives on key financial metrics

Ability to influence without authority, be an effective negotiator, and communicate with various organizational levels, including cross-functionally, at the frontline, and with senior leadership

Proven ability to lead multiple, complicated, cross team and customer, transformational technology delivery initiatives in a dynamic, high visibility, complex business environment

Experience measuring team delivery, maturity, and performance and creating reporting metrics and dashboards that illustrate the flow of value

Possess excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills to communicate seamlessly with agile teams, peers, and senior stakeholders, must have excellent interpersonal skills - ability to build strong relationships PMP
