Job description

We are seeking a Knowledge System Specialist to support a critical U.S. Army program in Fayetteville, NC. In this role, you will administer and enhance SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools to improve information sharing, streamline business processes, and support organizational effectiveness.

Working closely with government stakeholders, you will manage SharePoint sites, organize enterprise content, recommend collaboration solutions, and support users across the organization. Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform is a plus, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.

This position is onsite at Ft. Bragg.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain SharePoint Online sites, document libraries, lists, permissions, and enterprise content.
  • Develop knowledge management solutions that improve collaboration and information sharing.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Configure SharePoint site structure, navigation, metadata, permissions, and governance.
  • Develop and maintain basic Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to improve business processes.
  • Support migration of legacy content into SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
  • Create reports and dashboards using SharePoint or Power BI.
  • Develop user documentation and deliver end-user training.
  • Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and promote adoption of collaboration tools.
  • Monitor site usage, content quality, and system performance, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Stay current on Microsoft 365 capabilities and recommend enhancements to improve collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Five (5) or more years of experience administering SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration environments.
  • Experience supporting SharePoint Online.
  • Understanding of knowledge management, document management, and collaboration best practices.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and working directly with end users.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Security Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within 1800 days of hire, if required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboards.
  • Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Power Platform certifications.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or other federal government customers.
