Requirements

  • Professional software engineering experience, with ownership of complex production systems.

  • Strong full-stack experience, including production React applications and distributed backend services.

  • Experience working across TypeScript, Python, Go, and Java languages and codebases.

  • Strong AWS experience with EKS, EC2, S3, VPC networking, and infrastructure as code using CDK, or CloudFormation.

  • Experience with websockets, streaming systems, and real-time user experiences.

  • Production Kubernetes experience, ideally including CRDs, custom controllers, or operators, Helm and GitOps.

  • Strong production observability and operational ownership, including logs, metrics, alarms, incident response, and reliability improvements.

  • Experience building active-active or active-passive architectures is a plus.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and work effectively through ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or equivalent practical experience
