Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will build and debug VM products for Google Distributed Cloud, including air-gapped and connected offerings. You will work with Kubernetes, KubeVirt, QEMU, KVM, and system-level languages to deliver secure, scalable VM experiences for private and connected clusters. You will tackle testing, debugging, and performance challenges to enable demanding workloads. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the VM platform that underpins enterprise-grade cloud capabilities. This is an opportunity to influence how Google delivers reliable, large-scale virtualization across diverse environments. Compensation / Benefits * Develop VM products for GDC air-gapped and connected environments using kubevirt-based platforms * Build and debug a VM cloud product leveraging Kubernetes, QEMU, KubeVirt, and KVM * Debug testing platforms to support secure, high-demand customer workloads * Integrate storage, networking, compute, and GPU capabilities within VM products * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and operate across low-level networking and Linux internals Tasks * Bachelor in unknown or equivalent practical experience * 5 years of GoLang software development * 5 years of experience with network architecture * Experience with distributed computing, distributed processing and systems infrastructure * Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) or Linux internals/kernel interfaces Key requirements * bonus target * equity * benefits
