Job description

We are growing our test engineering capabilities and seeking an experienced Test Development Engineer to take ownership of ATE/production test programs for current and next-generation semiconductor products. As a Test Development Engineer, you will develop, validate, and optimize automated test solutions for mixed-signal semiconductor devices on industry-standard ATE platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, yield, test coverage, and manufacturing efficiency throughout the product lifecycle. We seek candidates with hands-on experience developing ATE programs on Teradyne and/or Advantest platforms and who will be comfortable working in an environment where innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence are highly valued.

As an ATE Test Development Engineer, you will:

  • Develop, debug, validate, release, and maintain ATE test programs for wafer sort and final test.
  • Program on Advantest and/or Teradyne ATE platforms.
  • Help define production test strategies, guard bands, limits, and screening methodologies
  • Analyse test results and improve test coverage, test time, and production yield.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities from silicon bring-up through production release. Including characterization, qualification, and silicon validation of new devices
  • Be a part of a test engineering team working closely with IC design and application engineering teams.
  • Contribute to DFT (Design-for-Test) discussions during new product development.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis of production and yield issues.
  • Support transfer of new products from engineering to volume production.
  • Collaborate with external manufacturing and OSAT partners.

Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Advantest and/or Teradyne testers.
  • Programming experience relevant to ATE environments
  • Understanding of and experience with semiconductor device characterization and production test methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional international team.
  • Good communication skills in English.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

  • Ultra-low-power integrated circuits.
  • Python or other scripting languages used for automation.
  • Design-for-Test (DFT) methodologies.
  • Collaboration with OSATs and global manufacturing partners.
