Your Impact
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will act as the highest level of technical support for complex EV charging issues, helping customers succeed while improving product reliability and service performance.
What You’ll Do
- Provide advanced remote technical support and root cause analysis for EV charging systems.
- Manage and resolve technical escalations from the Customer Contact Center.
- Support interoperability between EV chargers, vehicles, and backend systems.
- Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Champions, Quality, and R&D teams to address recurring issues and support product enhancements.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and technical knowledge.
- Coach frontline support teams to improve first-contact resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to KPI achievement, including MTTR and customer-specific SLA targets.
- Occasionally travel to customer sites, including internationally, when expert support is required.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, IT, energy systems, or communication technologies.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical support environment is an advantage.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of EV charging technologies and protocols such as Type 2, CCS, and OCPP is an advantage.
- Experience with CRM or ticketing systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
