Job description

Leidos has immediate opportunities for a Full Stack Developer to join a team building innovative software supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. We’re supporting a well-established customer that is responsible for critical and high-visibility missions applications used by a wide audience. Our team is tremendously talented, and we need to add a talented and creative Full-Stack Developer to the team. \n \n \n

  • Experience with VUE or React \n
  • Provide database architectural and design capabilities \n
  • Develop unit and functional test plan \n
  • Provide the operations and maintenance of operational systems \n
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance \n
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost restraints \n
  • Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance \n
  • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequence of design \n
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation \n
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces \n
  • Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then recheck the program to ensure that the desired results are produced \n
  • Conduct trial runs of program and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct \n
  • Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instruction so others can understand the program \n
  • Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as tracking inventory, storing or receiving data, or controlling other equipment \n
  • Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes \n
  • Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements \n
  • Written, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic \n
  • Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users \n
  • Investigate whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the system, or peripheral equipment are responding to a program’s instructions \n
  • Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operational, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language \n
  • Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs \n
  • Assign, coordinate, and review work and activities of programming personnel \n
  • Designs, Develops, and Maintains applications within the cloud environment. This can be for new applications development or the transition of legacy applications to the cloud environment. \n

Requirements

  • Requires BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree. \n
  • Demonstrated experience in multiple programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, and/or XML) \n
  • Experience managing and developing web software \n
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud services \n
  • Experience in Windows and/or Unix \n
