Job description

Travel Required: Yes - throughout South Carolina (same-day travel only unless scheduled), Candidate must have a VALID Driver’s License in order to drive a State Vehicle to various locations within State.
On-Call Rotation: Every 3 weeks (critical network outages)

Daily Duties & Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve help desk tickets related to wired and wireless network issues
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 on-call support for critical site network outages
Perform network account onboarding and offboarding using custom scripts
Assist with infrastructure incidents and escalations
Support network rollouts, upgrades, cleanup, and remediation efforts
Participate in planning and execution of network infrastructure improvements
Maintain documentation and inventory of network assets
Perform Microsoft administrative tasks including:
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) management
Group Policy administration
User provisioning and access management
Microsoft 365 administration
Assist with Windows Server administration:
Basic server maintenance
Monitoring and performance tuning
Patch management and updates

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
5+ years of experience with Microsoft administration
5+ years of experience in Windows Server environments
10+ years of hands-on troubleshooting experience in networking (wired and wireless)
5+ years of experience in customer service

Preferred Skills

Experience working in wiring closets
Experience with Ruckus switches
Experience with Deskpro Ticketing System
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
