Associate Frontend Developer

We are looking for an Associate Frontend Developer to join our team as we support a new engagement for our partner in Berlin. This role involves building and maintaining the digital interfaces that our advisors use to present commercial insights to sovereign entities, family groups, and chief executives. As a fully remote member of our technical team, you will help bridge the gap between complex investment data and clear, functional user interfaces. • Develop and maintain responsive web components using modern frontend libraries to support our commercial advisory tools.
• Translate visual designs and wireframes into clean, functional code that emphasizes clarity and usability for senior decision-makers.
• Collaborate with our commercial analysts to understand how counterparty data and investment scenarios need to be visualized.
• Participate in regular code reviews to ensure consistency and quality across our internal projects and client-facing dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user interface issues to maintain a smooth experience for our partners who rely on these tools during negotiations.
• Assist in optimizing application performance to ensure that data-heavy reports load efficiently across various devices.
• Document frontend processes and component libraries to help maintain a clear technical history for the firm.
• Work within a distributed team structure, using remote collaboration tools to stay aligned on project milestones and technical requirements.

• Strong foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript gained through academic studies, bootcamps, or personal projects.
• Basic familiarity with a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular and an interest in deepening that knowledge.
• An understanding of responsive design principles and how to build layouts that work across different browser environments.
• A disciplined approach to testing your own work and a high level of attention to detail when it comes to visual consistency.
• Curiosity about how commercial logic and state capital influence private deals in the market.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical progress or challenges in plain, direct language.
