Job description
We are looking for a Junior UI Engineer to support our advisory team as a Berlin-based technology firm is expanding its operations. This role is essential for creating the visual tools and interfaces that help our clients understand complex market logic and investment data. As a fully remote member of our team, you will work closely with senior partners to translate commercial judgment into clear, functional web interfaces that support high-stakes decision-making. What you will do
- Build and maintain responsive user interfaces for internal decision-support tools and client-facing dashboards.
- Translate static design mockups into clean, functional code using modern front-end frameworks.
- Collaborate directly with senior partners to ensure that data visualizations accurately reflect ground reality in the market.
- Assist in the development of interactive prototypes to test different commercial scenarios and investment outcomes.
- Ensure the consistency of our visual language across various digital tools and advisory reports.
- Identify and resolve front-end bugs or performance issues to ensure a smooth experience for counterparts and clients.
- Support the documentation of technical specifications and design systems for long-term project stability.

Requirements

- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical choices in plain language.
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to testing your own work.
- The ability to manage your own schedule and tasks effectively in a fully remote work environment.
- A willingness to learn from feedback and iterate on designs based on the needs of senior decision-makers.
- An organized approach to version control using Git or similar systems.
