Test & Evaluation Engineer 3

Supports satellite bus architecture, integration, and verification activities. Provides electrical subsystem engineering support, including performance analysis and issue resolution. Assists with interface definition and compatibility assessments between various subsystems. Supports system-level troubleshooting, anomaly resolution, and test readiness. Ensures compliance with program requirements, mission performance objectives, and customer expectations. Conducts verification, test, and data analysis for satellite bus and subsystems. Performs testing and troubleshooting of electronic equipment in a test laboratory environment. Uses test instrumentation and methods for system-level verification and validation. Operates and calibrates bench and lab test equipment including measurement and power devices. Applies knowledge of electrical systems and RF subsystems for satellite integration and test.

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). Bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ experience in an engineering classification or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Experience with test instrumentation and methods for electronic systems. Experience working in a test laboratory environment. Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment. Experience conducting verification, test, and data analysis activities. Preferred: 3 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred: Experience with Space systems including satellites. Preferred: Experience with electrical systems, RF subsystems, and operating or calibrating bench and lab test equipment., Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
