Job description

GreenBean IT is a growing managed services provider serving small and mid-sized businesses throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We help our clients leverage technology to improve productivity, security, and business operations. We are looking for a Systems Administrator who enjoys solving problems, building solutions, and working directly with clients.

This is not a help desk position.

We need someone who can take ownership of projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and serve as a technical resource for both clients and our internal team.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID
  • Manage Microsoft Intune deployments, policies, device enrollment, and endpoint security
  • Configure and maintain Windows Server environments
  • Support virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network infrastructure
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 migrations and cloud transformation projects
  • Deploy and support firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and security solutions
  • Monitor system health, backups, and disaster recovery processes
  • Troubleshoot escalated technical issues and provide Tier 3 support when needed
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and client standards
  • Participate in project planning and implementation for new technologies and client initiatives
  • Work directly with clients to understand business needs and recommend solutions

These responsibilities align with modern systems administration and MSP environments, particularly around Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, infrastructure management, security, monitoring, backups, and client-facing support.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, * 5+ years of Systems Administration experience

  • Experience supporting multiple environments or clients is highly preferred
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
  • Knowledge of Azure and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals including VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and firewalls
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and professional client interaction
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • VMware Certifications
  • Other relevant Microsoft or infrastructure certifications
