Software Engineer (Sr. Software Engineer, DOE)

The Software Engineer role involves building, enhancing, and maintaining cloud-based applications that support the organization’’s platform. The position requires collaboration across engineering and product teams to deliver new capabilities and improve existing systems. The role is impactful in advancing the company’s software products and relies on adaptability and continuous learning to keep pace with evolving technologies.

1. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and support software across multiple products and technology stacks.

• Engage in the full software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, code review, deployment, and production support.

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver features and resolve production issues.

• Write clean, maintainable code, automated tests, and maintain technical documentation.

• Design and improve RESTful APIs and event-driven services focusing on scalability, security, and reliability.

• 3 to 5 years of experience with modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, React, or TypeScript.

• Experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS using services like Lambda, S3, and RDS.

• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, Git workflows, and infrastructure as code tools such as AWS CDK or Terraform.

• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting production systems using platforms like Datadog or Amazon CloudWatch.

• Enthusiasm for AI-assisted software development tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new technologies.

• A degree in computer science or related field is preferred but not required with relevant experience.

1. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range from $120,000 to $135,000, up to $150,000 for Senior Software Engineers, dependent on experience.
