Job description
This is a full-time, fully office based role. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will provide technical support and infrastructure administration across a diverse multi-site environment. You will be responsible for resolving IT issues, maintaining core business systems, and assisting with the implementation of new technologies across the Group., * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network and infrastructure issues.
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 services, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure including switches, wireless networks.
- Support and administer telephone and PBX systems, including user provisioning and deployment.
- Manage endpoint devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers.
- Maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting complex issues, and engaging with users at all levels of the organisation., * Previous experience in a 2nd Line Support, Infrastructure Support or Systems Engineer role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Strong understanding of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Vlan’s and VPNs.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites when required.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- SharePoint administration and management.
- Experience with VMware and/or other virtualisation platforms.
- Support and administration of IP telephony and PBX platforms.
- Microsoft Intune and endpoint management experience.
- Experience within a multi-site business environment.
