Job description

As Head of Facilities and IT, you are responsible for the management and delivery of all facilities & IT related actions and services in line with the company’s brand promise and commercial goals.

Primarily you will ensure that meeting spaces on offer to clients are of an outstanding quality and deliver an experience that they will want to return for while at the same time taking care to support the team internally.

Areas of Responsibility:

Day to day * Maintain to current standards and improve over time, all facilities & IT related services as delivered to clients and team * Utilities and communications infrastructure * All technology including AV and Wallacesapce IT infrastructure * Ensure efficient and effective procurement and contract management * Project manage, supervise and coordinate efficiently and effectively, the work of facilities related contractors, including but not limited to:

* Housekeeping/Cleaning Health and safety * Security * Legal & compliance * Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they occur * Plan for future development in line with strategic business objectives. * Expansion Opportunities - Investigate the availability and suitability for new premises Major fit outs: new buildings - project manage tenders, contractors and final fit-out

Team Leadership & Performance

You will lead a team of * 1 x Facilities Manager who manages day-to-day performance and maintenance of all buildings

* 4 x Technical Support Managers who deliver client technical support in each building. You will be responsible for final hiring decisions, on-boarding and learning and professional development of your team, in tandem and with the support of our recruitment & L&D team, to deliver our business goals. * Identifying opportunities and encourage staff to participate in professional development. * Manage & resolve all facilities team HR issues and concerns. * Ensure you & your team perform to agreed KPIs. * Deliver all activities related to day-to-day operations of events spaces including; furnishings, IT/ AV equipment, and other events services technology.

Software Management * Manage all existing and new software solutions to ensure the smooth running of the business. * Manage our on-going systems integration project. * Implement effective training programmes to ensure optimum utilisation of relevant software systems across all personnel. * Ensure information in all systems is accurate up-to-date and audit compliant.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Facilities Management across multiple sites along with in-depth knowledge of working with and improving IT & Communications systems. You will have effectively dealt with deadlines, spent time working in a fast-paced environment, tracked transactions, resolved disputes and prioritised multiple projects simultaneously.

You should also have a commitment to continuous learning, development, and research on current best practices. The position requires some non-traditional hours during peak operations period. In addition, you will have proven and demonstrably excellent skills in: * Communication - Face to face and written
