Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Global Secure Access (GSA) Subject Matter Expert to lead a net-new enterprise implementation of Microsoftâs Global Secure Access platform. This individual will serve as the technical owner for the initiative, driving the engagement from assessment and architecture through deployment, rollout, optimization, and ongoing support. This is a hands-on senior-level role for someone who has successfully implemented Microsoft GSA in a production environment and can operate independently with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Microsoft Global Secure Access with a strong foundation in networking, security, and enterprise-scale deployments.
What Youâll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Global Secure Access (GSA)
- Perform technical discovery, assessment, and solution design
- Create and own the technical roadmap, implementation plan, and deployment strategy
- Configure and deploy Global Secure Access across the enterprise
- Design and execute pilot programs and phased production rollouts
- Troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, security, and performance issues
- Collaborate with networking, security, infrastructure, and business teams throughout implementation
- Develop documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials
- Support post-deployment optimization and serve as the primary escalation point for GSA-related issues
- Provide recommendations on securing global workforce access, mobile devices, remote endpoints, and evolving AI-driven traffic patterns
Requirements
- 7+ years in network engineering, cloud security, or network security engineering
- Previously led at least one enterprise Microsoft Global Secure Access implementation
- Experience operating as a technical lead or SME
- Experience leading GSA deployments from architecture through production rollout
- Networking & Security Background (5+ experience) - TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Firewalls, VPNs, and Secure remote access
- Experience troubleshooting complex network and security issues
- Strong understanding of secure access architectures and zero-trust principles
Benefits & conditions
Payrate - $70-80/hr
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
