Job description

IT logistics is invisible when it works and extremely visible when it does not. A multinational defence organisation is looking for someone to run the movement and the records of its IT assets in The Hague - receiving and dispatching equipment, keeping the asset data honest, and turning service requests around without letting the backlog build.

You would work mainly within the ICT logistics area, in an enterprise asset management toolset and an ITSM ticketing system, alongside the teams that depend on getting the right hardware to the right desk.

What you would be doing

  • Process incoming and outgoing assets, keeping the physical reality and the records in step.
  • Record and maintain asset data in the asset management tooling.
  • Monitor and process incoming service requests through the ITSM ticketing system.
  • Support inventory and asset management within an enterprise business application.
  • Handle related logistics duties as the work requires.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience of asset management and of processing assets in and out.
  • Hands-on experience with asset management tooling and with an ITSM ticketing system.
  • Experience of inventory or asset management methods inside an enterprise business application, or something close to it.
  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with two years of relevant experience, or a secondary qualification with four years.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Desirable: basic IT hardware knowledge, familiarity with logistics regulations in this sector, and experience of an international military and civilian environment.

Benefits & conditions

A non-disclosure agreement will be signed before work starts. The role is full time on site in The Hague, the Netherlands, from early October to the end of December 2026.
