Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Information Management, Business Intelligence and Business Information Performance Analysis team as a Deputy Information Business Partner.

You will work closely with operational and clinical teams to understand their information needs and ensure they haveaccurate, useful information to support day-to-day work,planningand decision-making. You will:

  • Lead on Trust waiting list management and support divisions to apply best practice.

  • Develop and improve reporting tools, including the Trust’s data warehouse portal, and manage key internal and external information outputs.

  • Provide information assurance,identifyingand escalating data or reporting issues appropriately.

  • Build confidence and capability in using information through training,coachingand practical support.

  • Provide advanced analysis and support areas such as demand and capacity planning and performance management.

  • Help implement Trust information standards and promote effective use of data.

  • Provide senior managers and clinicians with tailored training and support to make effective use of self-service Business Intelligence tools.

  • Evaluate key Business Intelligence reports, combining an understanding of operational priorities with knowledge of data and systems.

  • Support Trust-wide development of information tools, including the data warehouse portal.

  • Work as an integral member of the divisional management team, ensuring information is understood and used effectively for decision-making, planningand performance management.

  • Providespecialist NHS informatics advice on the impact of national policy and requirements on divisionalobjectives.

  • Translate complex technical specifications and intelligence reports into clear, accessible information for senior managers, cliniciansand the Trust Executive Leadership Team.

  • Lead the development and implementation of agreed cross-divisional Business Intelligence self-service reporting.

  • Work collaboratively within the Information team to ensure reporting is accurate,consistentand delivered to stakeholders within agreed timescales.

  • Promote a culture where colleagues feel confident using information and data to support their work and improve services.
