Job description
- We want you to take ownership of one website and another that is soon to be launched.
- You will build, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end website functionality.
- You will use WordPress, WooCommerce, APIs, PHP, and JavaScript in your day-to-day work.
- You will investigate bugs thoroughly and fix them actively.
- You will use Git to track and record changes.
- You will improve the SEO and functionality of our site.
- You will help develop and launch our second brand website.
- You will work Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.

Requirements
- We need someone with website development knowledge and experience, either from work or as a hobby.
- We welcome both junior candidates with some WordPress experience and senior candidates with years of experience.
- We need experience using WordPress to build and maintain websites.
- We value familiarity with both front-end and back-end website and e-commerce development.
- We are looking for someone comfortable working with WordPress, WooCommerce, APIs, PHP, JavaScript, and Git.
- We want someone who is not afraid to speak up, challenge the norm, and suggest better ways of doing things.
- We prefer someone who works well in a small company where their input can make a big difference.
- We are looking for a sociable, outgoing person with strong communication skills.
- You must be happy to commute to our Coventry office twice per week.
- You must have the right to work in the UK indefinitely, as we do not provide sponsorship.
About the company
We are a passionate and expanding provider of travel and holiday supplies with ambitious plans for growth. Our team has a wealth of travel experience, and we offer the opportunity to make a real impact in a small, entrepreneurial environment. The role is based in Coventry with hybrid working, ideally requiring two days per week in the office, and we offer a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, along with benefits, training, flexible working, 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays, and progression opportunities in salary, seniority, and title as we grow.
