Job description
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support several strategic HR transformation initiatives within banking environment for a company actively undergoing a merger. This individual will serve as a liaison between HR, IT, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure HR processes, systems, and technologies are successfully integrated and optimized.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of HR operations and HR technology, along with the ability to gather requirements, document current and future-state processes, identify dependencies, and drive initiatives across a highly matrixed organization.
This role will play a key part in major integration efforts related to open enrollment, payroll consolidation, and HCM system alignment following the merger., * Partner with HR, Compensation, IT, and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand current-state processes and conduct gap analysis

Create and maintain: o Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) o Process Flows o Solution Design Documentation o Functional Requirements o User Stories
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
- Identify process gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Support testing, implementation, and change management activities.
- Work across cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of HR-related transformation initiatives.
- Proactively drive action items and facilitate communication among stakeholders in a complex, highly matrixed environment.
Key Projects & Initiatives Unified Open Enrollment Program The Business Analyst will support the rollout of joint open enrollment going live in November 2026. Given the critical nature of open enrollment, it is important to understand what ongoing merger related activities my impact open enrollment and work with the respective teams to create a plan for minimal disruption.
Responsibilities include:
- Documenting current-state of enrollment processes and understanding what merger related activities might impact open enrollment
- Partnering with HR and Compensation teams to understand impacts and business requirements.

Identifying dependencies related to: o Active Directory o Exchange/Email Systems o Employee IDs o Identity & Access Management (IAM) o Network and system access changes
- Ensuring employees from both legacy organizations can successfully complete open enrollment.
- Evaluating impacts of organizational or system changes occurring during enrollment periods.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure readiness for November open enrollment.
Payroll & HCM Consolidation
- Support the consolidation of payroll operations into a single ADP environment.
- Assist with future-state planning related to potential HCM platform enhancements.
- Partner with stakeholders to alternative HCMs
$54/hr to $60/hr. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Business Analyst experience supporting HR-related initiatives.

Strong understanding of HR business processes, including: o Compensation o Performance Management/Performance Reviews o Benefits Administration o Open Enrollment
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Experience creating BRDs, process flows, and solution documentation.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive initiatives and influence outcomes in a matrixed environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working with ADP EV6.
- Experience supporting Workday and/or Oracle HCM environments.
- Experience with HR system implementations, consolidations, or integration projects.
- Banking or financial services industry experience.
- Experience supporting merger, acquisition, or organizational integration initiatives.
